Whereas partition is a reality the unfortunate truth is that in the minds of many important public personalities and political figures in India that reality has never been accepted. Instead of facing that harsh reality and moving ahead as Indians, many forces including those in power today have chosen to correct that injustice by putting hurdles in front of today's Indian Muslim citizens.
However there is another reality, the unfortunate truth of us all as Indians, we manipulate for power, attempt to checkmate our opponents and even our partners and are impatient at critical points in our public life as Indians. Todays intellectuals, thinkers and mediamen must help introduce and bring in a new reality for the common man in India, a real public platform which deals with him and his, fairly and equanimocally.....
